The Last Tales of Atlantis

I just got my Season 5 episodes of Stargate Atlantis on DVD!

I really miss this show. The characters had developed over the years ... and I dearly miss what I used to call "The Adventures of Rodney McKay".

I also hope that Jason Momoa has recovered from his attack. The poor fellow was assaulted with a broken beer glass in a bar that required 140 stitches during reconstructive surgery.

Back to The Original Series Future!

Back to my old hobby. This is really just a quick test to see if I could capture the general look and feel of the original "horn-of-plenty", ship. That would be the doomsday machine from the Star Trek episode "The Doomsday Machine" ... naturally.



I still have a lot of work to do, more changes to the model, softening edges here, adding details there, as well as more work on the textures. But this should be enough to convey the feel as well as the internal "engine" effect.
